Peter Winik said: "This kind of discussion is not based on facts, data or content, but ideology. You can do it, but we are a company that balances the interests of the owner ...If it is affected by ideology, I have an opinion on this.

In order to get a balance, Peter Winnik said that he tried his best to lobby to avoid export restrictions too tightly, and also appealed to senior Chinese officials when Acemai intellectual property rights were not respected.

He said, "I think Washington sometimes thinks that Mr. Winnick may be a friend in China. No, I am my client, supplier, employee and shareholder."

Peter Wenik predicts that with the current geographical interests, the Sino -US chip war will last for more than ten years.
