The U.S. government has tightened the restrictions on the purchase of advanced semiconductor products in China for less than a month. Some media reports said that the US chip manufacturer NVIDIA (Nvidia) released three latest series chips for the Chinese market.

The new media "Science and Technology Board Daily" under the Cai Lian News Agency reported on Thursday (November 9) that Nvidia has now developed the latest improved version of chips to the Chinese market: HGX H20, L20 PCLE and L2 L2PCLE.

People familiar with the matter said that Nvidia will announce the above news as soon as possible next Thursday (November 16), and Chinese manufacturers will get products as soon as possible in recent days.

The Science and Technology Board Daily verified the authenticity of the news from Yingweida, but as of press time, Nvidia has no response.

According to Reuters, the upcoming chip contains Nvidia's latest artificial intelligence function, but in order to meet the new rules of the United States, they have cut some computing power.

Aaron Rakers, an analyst at Wells Fargo, said in a report to customers that launching these three chips is an active measure, but it is expected that investors will question NvidiaWhether it is too aggressive in avoiding US restrictions may lead to further action.

He pointed out that about a quarter of the data center chip income from NVIDIA comes from China.

Nvidia said in October that the US government's new export restrictions on China will affect its sales of artificial intelligence chips A800 and H800.Both chips are developed for the Chinese market.

The US Department of Commerce announced on October 17 that it will significantly limit the export of artificial intelligence chips, which will increase the difficulty of selling new chips in China to sell existing products in China or to avoid rules in China.
