Chen Yuanfeng was the deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of State Council after the deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council in March last March.When they stepped down, they were 60 years old. According to the practice, the retirement age of deputy ministerial officials was 60 years old.

After Chen Yuanfeng stepped down, the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (Taiwan Affairs Office) was "one right and two deputy", the director was Song Tao, and the deputy director was Pan Xianlou and Qiu Kaiming.

Public information shows that Chen Yuanfeng was born in December 1963. He was born in Wangkui County, Heilongjiang. He joined the work in 1982.Chen Yuanfeng worked in Heilongjiang Province in his early years. He served as the Taiwan Affairs Office in 1994. He was the director of the Secretariat and the director of the Liaison Bureau.

Chen Yuanfeng is also the current member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and deputy director of the CPPCC Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Overseas Chinese Committee.
