The Kremlin said that the United States's confiscation of Russia's frozen assets is illegal, and Russia has vowed to respond to its own interests.
Reuters reported that the Kremlin spokesman Peskov said on Monday (April 22): "This is a violation of state -owned assets and private property. These are all illegal behaviors."
He also said that Russia will take revenge and legal actions, but did not disclose details.
