(Beijing Comprehensive News) The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said that the Chinese government's export control of graphite does not target any particular country and region nor for any specific events.
The Ministry of Commerce of China held a regular press conference on Thursday (October 26), and a spokesman Shu Tingting responded to the above.
She described the Chinese government to implement export control in accordance with the law, which is a "normal adjustment". It is also said that China is always committed to ensuring the security and stability of the global industrial chain supply chain. If the export meets relevant regulations, it will be permitted.
The Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs issued an announcement on October 20. Starting from December 1st, the three high -sensitive graphite items were officially included in the control list, and temporary control was canceled for five low -sensitive graphite items.
China is the world's largest graphite production and exporter. The artificial graphite incorporated into export control is the key material for the lithium battery's negative electrode. More than 90%of the world's power battery negative materials are produced by China.
