The President of the People's Bank of China Pan Gongsheng on Wednesday (April 17) attended the International Monetary Fund/World Bank Spring Festival with the Federal Reserve President Powell in Washington, USA.
According to the press release issued by the People's Bank of China through the WeChat public account, the two parties exchanged opinions on issues such as the economic situation, monetary policy, and financial stability in China and the United States.
Pan Gongsheng also met with Georkiyeva, president of the International Monetary Fund in Washington on the same day. The two parties exchanged their opinions on strengthening the cooperation between China and the International Monetary Fund.
Pan Gongsheng attended the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Annual Meeting in Mallaka, Morocco last October. He also met with Powell.
