Li Jiping, former member of the National Development Bank of China and deputy president of the National Development Bank, was investigated after eight years of retirement.
According to the official website of the State Supervision Commission of the Communist Party of China on Wednesday (March 13), Li Jiping is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Public information shows that Li Jiping was born in 1955, Liaoning Dalian, working at the General Bank of China Construction Bank from 1983 to 1994, and joined the National Bank of China from March 1994.
During the working work of the National Development Bank, Li Jiping was the director of the Policy Research Office from 1999 to 2003, from 2003 to 2007 as the president of Sichuan Branch, and from September 2008 to January 2016Vice President.
Many members of the leaders who have worked together with Li Jiping have been investigated.Hu Huaibang, the former party secretary and chairman of the National Kaifang Bank, was investigated in July 2019 and was sentenced to life imprisonment in January 2021.
Wang Yusheng and Zhou Qingyu, the former vice presidents of the National Kaixing Bank, were also investigated in May and July last year.Among them, Wang Yongsheng was investigated five years after retirement, and Zhou Qingyu was investigated during his tenure as the deputy governor, only two months before the official retirement.
