The Democratic Progressive Party's candidate and Vice President Lai Qingde recently voted for the Wall Street Journal of the United States, with the title of "My Plan for Defending Taiwan Strait", and proposed that it will bring the "four pillars" that will bring peace and prosperity.But even from the perspective of political slogans, this "four pillars" are unrealistic, which not only helps solve the dilemma of Taiwan, but also likely to worsen Taiwan's situation.
Lai Qingde chose to vote for the "four pillars" to the American media instead of directly reporting to the public. One is that the "pragmatic Taiwan independence worker" has the heritage, which is essentially impossible to bring the Taiwan Strait peace;The second is based on the difficulty of "suspicion" in the United States. Lai Qingde's investment book is to introduce its policy claims. It is better to say that it is a report to the United States.And this also shows that Lai Qingde will continue to lead the leader Cai Yingwen's route. First of all, the DPP has continued to "exchange the interests of Taiwan for the great foreign publicity" since the DPP.
But Lai Qingde's voting book mentioned that his role positioning was "like the political predecessor who maintained the security of the Taiwan Strait that year", which was obviously reality.In the international New Cold War pattern, the result of the Cai government's side selection station is to allow Taiwan to be on the front line where the war may be detonated by the war; even if the national defense expenditure has increased greatly, it has not changed the situation on the two sides of the strait.More and more imbalanced facts.As Lai Qingde's "four pillars" finale, the "stable and principled cross -strait relations leadership ability", therefore, is also ironic.
Nowadays, cross -strait relations have a sharp retrogression, not only the official exchange channels are interrupted, but civil exchanges are also blocked everywhere. The Cai government is also intentionally or unintentionally creating the atmosphere of discrimination against the people of the mainland.For example, in the attitude towards Lu Sheng, from being prohibited from coming into health insurance and epidemic, it was prohibited from coming to Taiwan to prevent vaccines in Lu Sheng in Taiwan. The cross -strait relations during the Tsai government period, from peaceful exchanges to tension confrontation, are based on the traditional position of the DPP, and the other is the election dividend obtained by the University of China; the most important thing is to cater to the US -China confrontationNew Cold War Thinking.However, the Cai government's comprehensive campaign has not brought substantial benefits to Taiwan regardless of national defense, diplomacy or economic and trade levels.On the one hand, Taiwan has to bear the risk of cross -strait soldiers in danger, on the other hand, it has to sacrifice Taiwan's interests and pay for the need for "democratic friendship".

Many weapons that have purchased and agreed delivery time have also been repeatedly delayed delivery.In terms of economy and trade, the United States has been forced to ask: TSMC was forced to set up factories in the United States and openly open Laizhu imports. Even the United States Association in Taiwan requested the use of junior high school land to expand land, and Taiwan had to cooperate with it.It is to use Taiwan's industrial foundation and the health of the people in exchange for unreal international support.

Strictly speaking, as a presidential candidate, Lai Qingde's investment book should explain the focus, not to be aware of the beauty of the United States or whether it is Lai Sui, but to be clearly explained to the people.Is it solved?Lai Qingde's "four pillars" just "support the current status of cross -strait" and "do not rule out cross -strait dialogue."But the United States and China have begun to talk, and the lack of common political foundation on both sides of the strait has entered the "confrontation model". If this is the current situation that Lai Qingde is going to maintain, where does the conversation come from?In exchange for "oral support" in Taiwan's interests, how can they swallow the people?
