The Office of the Hong Kong Government Information Science and Technology Director required government departments to comprehensively review the existing information security measures and reply within a week.
Comprehensive Ming Pao and Hong Kong's Radio website on Sunday (May 5) reported that the Science and Technology Office stated that there was a recent government department information security accident, especially the leakage of personal data.
In addition to providing technical support, the Science and Technology Office also issued instructions to request government departments to comprehensively review the existing information security measures, reminding that all systems and users under their jurisdiction must strictly abide by government information security regulations, policies and guidelinesTreatment of sensitive and personal data, cannot be stored on the public cloud platform, and requires the department to reply within a week.
