Hong Kong officially reported that the latest unemployment rate in Hong Kong was maintained at 2.9%
The Hong Kong Government Statistics Office issued the latest labor from October to December 2023 to December.Population statistics show that after seasonal adjustment, the unemployment rate in Hong Kong in the past three months is 2.9%, which is the same as numbers from September to November 2023.The employment insufficient rate also remains unchanged during these two periods, maintaining a level of 1.0%.
According to statistics, the total number of employment in Hong Kong from September to November 2023 from 3.7 million 8,700, falling to 3.7 million 6,800 from October 2023 to December, decreased by about 1,900.The total labor population of the same period also fell from 3.82 million to 3.81 million, a decrease of about 8,600.
Statistics number shows that without seasonal adjustment, the number of unemployed people in Hong Kong fell from 112,400 from September 2023 to November to 1023 to 105,700 from October 2023, a reduction of about6700 people.In terms of the number of employment in Hong Kong, the figures from October to December 2023 are 37,000, which is roughly similar to the numbers (36,600 people) from September to November 2023.
