According to CNBC in the United States, Bain and Company conducted a survey on Double 11 on Double 11 for more than 3,000 consumers in China, and announced on Tuesday (November 7).
The report shows that for this year's shopping festival, 77%of the interviewers said that they did not plan to increase expenditure, slightly higher than 76%last year, far higher than 49%in 2021.
The report also shows that nearly half of consumers say they are seeking to buy cheaper brands or own brand products, and they are often cheaper than well -known brands.
Bain's partner James Yang said in a telephone interview that based on the current macroeconomic situation, Chinese consumers' willingness to consume is still lower than the level before the epidemic.
James Yang also pointed out that the survey shows that different types of consumers have different choices, and high -income people are still consumed, but the blue -collar class is cutting expenditure. As for the middle class, their mentality is from the two of them.In between, weigh more cautiously to buy the goods you want to buy and the money you need to pay.
"Double 11" is the largest shopping festival in the world launched by Alibaba in 2009. Last year, the two major e -commerce giants Alibaba and JD.com did not announce the total product transactions for the first time.
