Australian Prime Minister Albanis will visit China from November 4th to November 7th and meet with Chinese officials.

Agence France -Presse reported that the Australian government on Sunday (October 22) confirmed the trip to China to visit China.

Albanis expressed his expectation to visit China in a statement, saying that this is "an important step to ensure the stability and effectiveness of the relationship between the two countries."He welcomed the progress of the two sides of the return of Australian products, including wine, to return to the Chinese market.

He also showed that he was looking forward to contacting the national interests of Australia with the official and Prime Minister Li Qiang.

Albanis met with Li Qiang during the Asia Gyeenal Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia in September.He later stated that he had accepted the official invitation of China and will visit China at the time of the consent of both parties later this year.

Chinese Ambassador to Australia, Xiao Qian, said on Wednesday (11th) that Albanis's visit to China this year will promote Sino -Australian relations.Xiao Qian pointed out that the common ground between China and Australia is more than different, which provides a basic background for the restoration of relations between the two countries. China hopes that Sino -Australian relations will "surpass stability and further improve."

During the Twenty Group (G20) summit held in Bali, Indonesia last year, Chinese officials held talks with Albanis.At that time, it was the first formal bilateral meeting since 2016.

Albanis's visit to Beijing this time will also be his first visit to China since 2016.
