Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng met with overseas Chinese in the United States last week that it promoted the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of Sino -US relations, which is in line with the fundamental interests of the two peoples.
The Chinese Embassy in the United States announced on the official website on Saturday (June 8). Xie Feng gathered together with some representatives of some overseas Chinese communities in Washington on Thursday (6) to spend the Dragon Boat Festival.
Xie Feng said that this year is the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, and it is described as a critical year after Sino -US relations.Promoting the stable, healthy, and sustainable development of Sino -US relations is in line with the fundamental interests of the people of the two countries and the general expectations of the international community.
Xie Feng also said: "I hope everyone will continue to be a Chinese story, a promoter of mutually beneficial cooperation, and a promoter of folk and friendly.The role is to actively promote the strengthening of exchanges, friendly cooperation, and people's hearts in China and the United States, and inject more positive energy for Sino -US relations, get better, and go forward.
