China's largest storage chip manufacturer Yangtze River Storage (YMTC) emphasized that the company's technology will not be used by the Chinese military for military purposes.
The Yangtze River Storage Saturday (February 3) said in a statement to Reuters: "We have not provided it or have not been instructed by any entity to provide technology for military use."
The statement emphasized that the Yangtze River storage was not owned by the Chinese military or controlled, and refuted any "charges we threatened to the US national security."
The above statement is to respond to the US Department of Defense earlier to include the Yangtze River storage in the entity list to assist the Chinese military.
The US Department of Defense updated the list of "Chinese Military Enterprises" on Wednesday (January 31st). Enterprises included in the list include Yangtze River Storage, Chinese Artificial Intelligence Corporation, MEGVII, laser radar manufacturersHesai Technology (HESAI), technology company, Netposa, etc.
For the named enterprises, although the list of this list does not mean that the US ban immediately faces the US ban, it is inevitable that the reputation is damaged. This list may also increase the pressure from the US Treasury's sanctions.
In this regard, a spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington approved the abuse of national power and violated its commitment to maintaining "market competition and international fair trade."
