The embassy in the UK emphasized on the official website that the international community adheres to the general consensus and stability pattern of the international community."
The spokesperson for the embassy also said:" We urge Britain to adhere to the position of Taiwan as a province in China, to deal with Taiwan -related issues carefully in accordance with the principle of China and stop the words and deeds of interference in China./P>
According to Reuters, the official website of the Japanese Foreign Affairs provincial official website was announced after the results of the Taiwan election. The Foreign Minister Shangchuan Yoshiko congratulated Lai Qingde to win the election and described Taiwan as an extremely important partner and important friend of Japan.
British Foreign Minister Cameron issued a statement through the official website of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated Lai Qingde to win the election, and called on the Taiwan Strait to continue to work hard to solve differences peacefully through constructive dialogue.
