Comprehensive Sing Tao Global and "Hong Kong 01" reported that Cathay Pacific flight CX633 flew from Hong Kong to Penang on Sunday. Because of the suspected cabin smoke, it was necessary to return to Hong Kong urgently.
The Hong Kong police and fire protection were alert at the airport after receiving the report. By 8:54 in the morning, no one was injured in the incident.
According to the status of Cathay Pacific, the passenger aircraft originally took off at 8:15. It is expected to arrive at Penang at 12:05 noon. At present, the aircraft will be delayed. It is expected to reach the destination at 3:52 pm.
