According to the CCTV news client, Putin arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport in the morning.He will attend the third "Belt and Road" international cooperation summit forum and participate in related activities.
In an interview with Chinese official media earlier, Putin said that the Belt and Road Initiative and Russia's assumptions with Russia's development of the Eurasian Economic Union are fully in line. Participating countries will realize mutual benefit and have no impact to others.
According to previous Reuters reports, Putin's visit to China will meet with Xi Jinping to continue to deepen Sino -Russian relations.
The third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum will be held in Beijing from October 17th to 18th. The theme is "High -quality co -construction 'Belt and Road' to achieve common development and prosperity together."This forum is to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 10th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony, give keynote speeches, and hold welcome banquets and bilateral activities for guests who go to China to attend the forum.
