China News Agency reported that data released by the National Energy Administration of China on Monday (October 16) showed that in September, the power consumption of the whole society was 781.1 billion kilowatt -hours, a year -on -year increase of 9.9%.
In terms of industrial perspective, the amount of electricity consumption of the primary industry was 11.7 billion kilowatt -hours, an increase of 8.6%year -on -year;100 million kilowatt -hours, a year -on -year increase of 16.9%; urban and rural residents' living electricity consumption of 103.5 billion kWh, an increase of 6.6%year -on -year.
Data show that from January to September, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 6863.7 billion kWh, a year -on -year increase of 5.6%.In terms of industrial perspective, the power consumption of the first industry was 97.6 billion kilowatt -hours, a year -on -year increase of 11.3%; the electricity consumption of the second industry was 4470.3 billion kWh, a year -on -year increase of 5.5%.%; Urban and rural residents' living electricity consumption is 1041.2 billion kWh, a year -on -year increase of 0.5%.
