(Morning News) The US Biden government prohibits the approval of the purchase of new telecommunications equipment for China Huawei Technology Company and ZTE on the grounds of "unacceptable risks" for US national security.
Reuters reports that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced on Friday (November 25) that the final rules that FCCs have adopted also prohibited the sales or imported Chinese monitoring equipment manufacturer Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. and video monitoring company Hangzhou HangzhouHikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., as well as equipment manufactured by telecommunications company Hainea Communication Co., Ltd..
Because of worrying that Beijing might use Chinese technology companies to monitor the American people, the announcement of FCC on Friday was Washington's latest targeting measures for Chinese technology giants.
FCC Chairman Rosenwa Sel issued a statement saying: "These new rules are part of the important measures that we continue to adopt the national security threat involving telecommunications from telecommunications."
Huawei refuses to comment on the latest announcement of the United States.ZTE, Dahua, Hikvision, and Hai Nengda did not immediately respond to the comment request.
