Hong Kong government officials say that the first local Chinese hospital is expected to put in service next year.

Comprehensive Hong Kong Zhongtong News Agency and Radio of Hong Kong reported that Zhang Weilin, director of the Development Planning Office of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of the Hong Kong Medical and Health Bureau of the Hong Kong Medical and Health Bureau, said on Saturday (March 16) on the radio program that it is expected to be the first TCM hospital in Hong Kong next yearIt is hoped that the hospital can be used as a platform to connect the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Hong Kong to promote the development of Hong Kong's Chinese medicine industry and even the international traditional Chinese medicine industry.

Zhang Weilin said that there will be 400 beds in the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a diagnosis of about 310,000 people each year. At that time, it will jointly provide services with the current 18 teaching and research centers.However, the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine does not provide services such as emergencies, childbirth and deep treatment.

He further said that after the patient was treated with the hospital, he could return to the teaching and research center to retract, and said that this facilitates the training of Chinese medicine practitioners.

Zhang Weilin expects to set up a fee after the middle of next year, and also emphasized that the principle of charging must be the level that the public can afford.
