Tsai Ing -wen hopes to deepen the US economic and trade relations in Taiwans off

Taiwan Tsai Ing -wen said in a meeting with Gretchen Whitmer, Governor of Michigan, said that it is expected that the new offices of Michigan in Taiwan will continue to strengthen Taiwan -US economic and trade relations.

According to a press release issued by the official website of the Taiwan Government, when the Wei Meigui visiting group was visited on Tuesday (March 5), Cai Yingwen welcomes the other party to visit Taiwan for the second half year to show the importance and support of Taiwan with action to show Taiwan.And on behalf of the people of Taiwan to express sincere thanks.She hopes to communicate with Wei Meigui's delegation to find more opportunities for cooperation for Taiwan and Michigan.

Tsai Ing -wen pointed out that during the visit of Wei Meigui, it was announced that Michigan will set up a trade offices in Taiwan and believe that it will further strengthen the US economic and trade relations.On the day, there were a number of university presidents in Michigan, hoping that Taiwan and Michigan will continue to promote the exchange of bilateral talents and technology in the future.For example, the car industry, semiconductor and microelectronics research in Michigan can cooperate with Taiwan's electric vehicles and semiconductor supply chains to jointly establish a safe supply chain and improve the industrial settlement.

Tsai Ing -wen also thanked the State Council of Michigan's State Council's two houses to set up a cross -party friendly line connection to continue to deepen the friendly relationship with Taiwan.
