According to the results of the domestic tourism sampling survey, in the first three quarters of this year, the total number of domestic tourism was 3.674 billion, an increase of 1.580 billion over the same period last year, and a year -on -year increase of 75.5%.Among them, the number of domestic tourists in urban residents was 2.846 billion, a year -on -year increase of 78.0%; domestic tourists in rural residents were 828 million, an increase of 67.6%year -on -year.
In terms of quarterly, in the first quarter of this year, the total number of domestic tourism was 1.216 billion, a year -on -year increase of 46.5%; in the second quarter, the total number of domestic tourism was 1.168 billion, a year -on -year increase of 86.9%.The total number of tourism was 1.290 billion, a year -on -year increase of 101.9%.
The statistical results also show that in the first three quarters of this year, the total domestic travel in residents spent 3.69 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.97 trillion yuan over the previous year and an increase of 114.4%.Among them, urban residents spent 3.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 122.7%year -on -year; rural residents spent 1.52 trillion yuan, an increase of 75.8%year -on -year.
