A shooting incident on Tuesday (October 3) in Bangkok's Siam Palace Shopping Center.The Thai police said a 14 -year -old suspect had been arrested.

Agence France -Presse quoted the director of the Bangkok Lover Bay Emergency Center in Bangkok, Thailand, revealed that a woman was killed in a shooting and "based on preliminary inspections, the deceased was a Chinese citizen."

Tu Tu said that six other people were injured in the accident, and five of them were seriously injured.Except for the victims, the rest of the wounded are women.

However, some Thai media reported earlier that as many as three people were killed.

The investigation department of the Bangkok Police Department stated on Facebook that a 14 -year -old suspect had been arrested and interrogated by the shooting.Photos shared by the Thai emergency service department showed that a person's face was facing down the ground, and the police were handcuffing him.

The Central Investigation Bureau of Thailand posted a photo on Facebook earlier, saying that the person was a suspect. He wore a khaki -colored worker pants and a baseball cap.

The Prime Minister of Thailand said on social media X: "I know the shooting incident of Siam Belle Palace and ordered the police to conduct an investigation. I am most worried about public safety."

Video and photos released on social media show that after hearing the gunfire, people have flocked to the exit of the Siam Palace Shopping Center.

Reported that the sound of gunfire came from the toilet on the first floor of the shopping mall, and some people took refuge in the shopping mall store.

A video released on the social media platform X showed that men, women and children hurried out of a grocery store.

The subway station near Siam Belle Palace Shopping Center has been closed, and it is recommended that the public stay away from the shopping mall.
