The two -party members of the United States are investigating a number of major automotive parts retailers. These retailers are accused of buying parts from a Chinese company suspected of avoiding US tariffs.

According to Reuters on Friday (September 6), the China House of Representatives, which consisting of two parties, requires American retailers Autozone, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Genuine Parts, Advance Auto Parts, First BrandsGroup and Factory Motor Parts respond to whether they purchase parts from Qingdao Sanxiang Technology Co., Ltd. and its US subsidiaries.

The group expressed concerns about Qingdao Sanxiang Technology's illegal transfer of Chinese products to the United States through Thailand to escape US tariffs.

The group believes that US retailers have the responsibility to ensure their procurement behaviors and will not accidentally support companies that engage in tariffs or other illegal trade.

U.S. officials raid the subsidiary of Qingdao Sanxiang Technology in Ohio in January this year.Public information shows that American auto parts retailers, including AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, and O’Reilly, account for more than 40%of Qingdao Sanxiang Technology sales.

In 2019, the United States levies 25%of new tariffs on some Chinese automobile parts, including rubber tube assembly products produced by Qingdao Sanxiang Technology.

The group said that Qingdao Sanxiang Technology established a transfer station for the above -mentioned products in Thailand, and cited a document of the company that "the main purpose of investing in Thailand isAmerican car parts retailers transport goods. "
