(Hong Kong Reuters) As China has made breakthroughs in the technology of manufacturing a new generation of nuclear submarines, a research report on the US Navy War Institute pointed out that the U.S. and its allies' future surveillance of Chinese submarines is expected to become more difficult.

Analysts and regional defense officers said that more and more evidence shows that China's new generation of "096 ballistic missile submarines" is expected to be officially put into use by 2030.The submarine has made breakthroughs in mute performance, which is benefited from Russian technology to a certain extent.

At a seminar at the U.S. Naval War Institute in May this year, the progress of Chinese submarines was discussed. The College China Maritime Research Institute also issued relevant research reports in August.

Report predict that it is more difficult to monitor China's new submarines.Seven analysts and three military officers in Asia also recognized this conclusion.

In an interview with Calrson, a retired submarine soldier and a naval technical intelligence analyst, the US -retired submarine and naval technical intelligence analysts described China's 096 submarine as "nightmare" and "they will be very difficult to be discovered."

The

Research Report also pointed out that type 096 submarines can be compared with Russia's most advanced submarines in terms of stealth, sensors and weapons.Essence

The U.S. Department of Defense said last November that the Chinese Navy was regularly using the old 094 submarine to conduct a full armed nuclear deterrent patrol in the South China Sea, as it was done by the United States, Britain, Russia, and France for many years.

However, the noise of the 094 submarine is relatively large, which is a serious weakness of military submarines.

The volume of the 096 submarine may be much larger than the 094 type, so that it can contain an inner "raft" installed on a complex rubber bracket to inhibit the engine noise and other sounds, similar to Russia's design.

Russian military expert Kashen believes that China has made progress through the transformation of Russian submarine design and espionage activities, but China is unlikely to have the most advanced submarine technology in Russia.

Kashen admits: "China is not a Russian opponent in the navy, so this will not cause us trouble, but to create problems for the United States."

According to Reuters in September, the U.S. Navy is comprehensively targeted at extremely secret underwater reconnaissance networks and launched the largest upgrade since 1950 to fight against China's expanding naval activity scope and its influence.
