The National Aeronautics Aerospace Agency (NASA) was originally scheduled to send two air quality monitoring machines on Wednesday (February 28) to Taiwan to perform tasks, but one of the monitoring engines could not fly before the engine was overheated before sailing.

According to the press release of the Taiwan Ministry of Environment, the US NASA plans to send GIII and DC8 monitoring machines on Wednesday to provide ozone, fine suspension particles (PM2.5) and high time and space analysis 3D empty product information, For satellite verification, pattern assessment and control strategy reference, refine the control of air pollution in Taiwan.

But the Ministry of Environment said that the DC8 monitoring machine had a temporary problem before flight and could not fly to Taiwan.Patrol, analyze the terrain, atmospheric circulation and air pollutants over time through high -screen experiments.

Xie Binghui, director of the Ministry of Environmental Monitoring Information, said in an interview that although the DC8 failed to fly, the GIII and the monitoring of all ground were operating normally, and there were also relevant information collected.

Xie Binghui said that the Ministry of Environment will continue to win the opportunity to perform experiments in Taiwan from NASA.
