The research team has built a set of quantitative analysis of rats with high reactions.They found that mice could perceive the stimulus of "height", and appeared on the open high platform. Similar movements such as human beings, reducing center of gravity, anxiety, and tremor appeared.
After inhibiting the outer vestibular organ function of mice, researchers have found that their fear of high response will not decline; deprived of the tactile sensing of the beards, and it does not affect the fear of high behavior.Interestingly, the mice only showed a fear of response in the light, and there was no typical fear of high reaction in the dark, indicating that the high response was mainly caused by the visual impact of the high place.
Research team said that when people were in height, the fear came into being.
The research team also found that inhibiting the activity of related brain areas can produce a strong high -blocking effect.In this case, many mice can completely ignore the danger on the high platform and bravely climb down or jump down the platform.This phenomenon suggests that the high -danger signal "workstation" is not unique.
