Putin also said in a TV speech that he told Chinese officials in the talks that Moscow could meet Beijing's demand for energy resources.He discussed with Chinese officials the proposed "Power of Siberia 2" pipeline to transport Russian natural gas to China.If the plan is implemented, this pipeline can transport 50 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Mongolia to China every year.Russia proposed this idea many years ago, but Russia is now more urgent to turn to China to replace Europe as the main natural gas customers.
