The Philippines condemned the latest "provocative behavior" adopted by the Chinese maritime police on the Filipino fishermen.
Reuters reported that when the Philippine National Security Council spokesman Maraa was interviewed on Monday (January 22), it was mentioned that the Philippine Coast Guard reported on the January 12th report on the weekend.
Malan said that the Chinese Coast Guard ordered the Philippine fishermen to return the scallops collected near the disputed Huangyan Island (the Philippines called Marsinkek Shill), and drove the fishermen away from that waters.
