Director AIT: The United States promises to strengthen Taiwans security

Gu Liyan, director of the United States Association (AIT), said that the United States promised to strengthen Taiwan's security and cooperate to expand international participation, saying that it has increased confidence in the growing relationship between the US and Taiwan economies and investment.

AIT on Tuesday (August 6) posted on the official Facebook saying that Gu Liyan recently visited Zheng Lijun, deputy dean of the Taiwan Executive Yuan, and Guo Zhihui, Minister of Economy.

Gu Liyan reiterated that the United States promised to strengthen Taiwan's security, assist in deepening Taiwan's toughness, and cooperated to expand international participation.He also expressed support and confidence in the growing relationship between the US and Taiwan economy and investment, and was happy to see the continuous improvement of science and technology, culture and civil exchanges between the two sides.

AIT said that it will continue to strengthen the leaders of the leaders from all walks of life in Taiwan, and to increase the US -Taiwan relations to a new height.
