A cross -party delegation composed of 10 Australian parliament members will visit Taiwan in September to discuss the issue of trade issues and Taiwan's comprehensive progress of cross -Pacific partnerships (CPTPP).
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on Tuesday (August 22), members of the Australian Congress include: Labor Party Councilor Josh Wilson, David Smith, and the shadow of the Wild Liberal PartyForeign Minister Claire Chandler.
Chandler said in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that the interview itinerary was purely a parliamentary interview in 2022.She pointed out that the Australian Congress visited Taiwan has visited Taiwan many times in recent years, just as the Australian Parliament Visits will visit other places on a regular basis.
She said: "Taiwan is one of Australia's largest export destinations, and members of the Australian Parliament visited Taiwan for many years, so this visit is not unusual or different."
