Wu Zhaoyi said: "The discussion has been carried out for some time. They (Philippine workers) may even apply for permanent residence rights in Taiwan.>
He believes that Philippine workers in Taiwan have constituted part of Taiwan society. However, if the Philippine government does not provide mutual benefit to Taiwanese in terms of visas, it will be difficult for Taiwan to extend the Filipinos' visa -free discounts in Taiwan.
Wu Zhaozheng pointed out that there has always been discussion about this issue, but if the Philippines does not give Taiwan's electronic visa, visa -free treatment or visa visa, it is difficult for the decision makers of the Taiwan government to extend visa -free discounts.
According to the Philippine Star report, Taiwan's representative office in the Philippines said that the Philippine people entering Taiwan's visa -free measures will be tried until July 31.Taiwan will evaluate whether the Philippine passport holders will extend the visa -free inbound discount.
