Hong Kong Cable TV Paid Broadcasting License was officially terminated on Thursday (June 1), and the cable TV toll station was officially suspended.
According to the Hong Kong News Agency, cable broadband is a Hong Kong media company. The main business is to provide toll TV services, residential network telephones, Internet networks, multimedia services, TV program production and artist management.
Cable Broadband Group said earlier that Cable TV has created many classic programs for citizens in Hong Kong for 30 years.For generations of audience habits, cable TVs will be converted to free TV and online platforms.
Three free TV channels under the Wired Broadband Group, namely Hong Kong International Finance and Economics, HOY TV, HOY Information Station, website and mobile applications, will continue to provide 24 -hour free news and variety shows for citizens in Hong Kong.And drama; other businesses including broadband communication, telephone services, network construction, and mobile communication will also be operated as usual.
Cable broadband suspended trading on February 14th and announced that it has submitted an application to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and approved to return the local toll TV program service license. Starting from June 1, the teleportation toll TV signal was terminated.
A spokesman for the Business and Economic Development Bureau of the Hong Kong Government said earlier that cable television has lost money in recent years and has difficulty operating the environment. The paid TV license is purely commercial considerations, and the government respects relevant decisions.
