In February 2001, Chen Binhua and then Xinhua News Agency, Fan Liqing, went to Taiwan as the first batch of two resident reporters in the mainland to interview in Taiwan.Fan Liqing served as the Deputy Director of the National Taiwan Affairs Office in 2006.
