Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Wension will meet with senior management of semiconductor enterprise such as TSMC on Thursday (May 18) to invest and open new plants in Japan.TSMC has confirmed that Liu Deyin, chairman of the company will attend the meeting.

Integrated Asia and Taiwan jointly reported that the official Japanese officials will invite executives of semiconductor companies such as Intel, TSMC, South Korea, and Meiguang Technology to talk to Kishida on Thursday.The talks will be held in the Japanese Prime Minister's Office.In addition to Kishida, Minister of Economic and Trade and Industry Nishimura Kangyu and other senior Japanese officials will also attend.

These semiconductor company executives are expected to outline their investment and business development plans in Japan.Samsung may talk to a advanced semiconductor factory it plans to open in Yokohama. The chairman and CEO of the Belgian semiconductor R & D institution will also announce the opening of the first overseas research center in Japan.

The Japanese government will consider providing subsidies for these projects to encourage them to invest in Japan.

TSMC was confirmed to be invited by Japanese officials on Wednesday (17th), and revealed that the company's chairman Liu Deyin will attend the talks.
