(Taipei News) The latest public opinion survey of the Taiwan media shows that nearly 50 % of Taiwanese voters believe that the risk of fighting on both sides of the strait within 10 years is not high, and more than 40 % of voters do not support the DPP government's non -nuclear home policies.
The latest polls announced on Monday (May 1) of the Taiwan United Daily show that 47%of voters think that the opportunity is not great for the risk of wars on both sides of the strait, and 34%of voters think that this is possible.
According to the analysis, most Taiwanese voters who believe that war may occur within 10 years of the two sides of the strait are mostly inclined to support Hou Youyi or Guo Taiming, who may represent the Kuomintang in the 2024 Taiwan election, with a support of about 33%.I feel that voters with a low risk of cross -strait warfare are mainly supported by Lai Qingde, which supports the current vice president and chairman of the DPP, with a support of 34%.
As for the 2025 non -nuclear home policy proposed by the Tsai government, 44%of Taiwanese voters did not support it, and 33%of voters expressed their support.
Analysis shows that most of the Kuomintang and the people's party branch holders mostly oppose the non -nuclear home policy in 2025, with a ratio of more than 60%.55%of the DPP supporters expressed support, and 28%did not support.Neutral voters are mostly opposed to waves, 40%do not support, and 29%support.
polls show that 34%of Taiwanese voters said that they did not want to see the DPP winning in the 2024 presidential election. The proportion was significantly higher than the Kuomintang's 13%and 14%of the people's party.

In terms of the Kuomintang presidential candidate, the founder of Hon Hai Group Guo Taiming and the mayor of New Taipei Hou Youyi each won 32%of Taiwan voters to support the Kuomintang to recruit them for elections.The presidential candidate called by the Kuomintang is expected to be released within this month.
If the Kuomintang integrates Hou Youyi and Guo Taiming, 26%of Taiwanese voters support Hou Guo, and 27%look forward to Guo Hou match.Among the blue camp voters, 51%supported Hou Youyi on behalf of Lan Ying to run, and 33%supported Guo Taiming on behalf of the Kuomintang to run.40%of the Blue Camp voters supported Hou Guo to run, and the proportion was 33%higher than Guo Hou.
polls also found that if the Taiwan election in 2024 was a blue -green and white three -party hegemony, the blue camp was currently a little ahead of Lai Qingde's 27%of Lai Qingde regardless of whether it was called Hou Youyi or Guo Taiming.Although the party chairman Ke Wenzhe supports, it also exceeds 20%.If Ke Wenzhe does not run, the Kuomintang's victory will be greater than the Democratic Progressive Party.
The survey was conducted from April 23rd to 26th. It visited 1,143 adult Taiwanese people. Under the level of 95%of confidence, the sampling error was within 2.9%.
