Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport received public notifications on Saturday (March 4) in the afternoon. The aircraft took off and landing the south runway suspected to have drone activities, and the full -time shutdown was suspended.The airport has resumed take -off and landing at 4 pm, and the incident has affected 14 flights.

According to the Taiwan United Daily report, Taoyuan Airport Company received a notification from the Air Police Department at 15:42 pm on Saturday. There was a drone activity on the ends of the 05R end of the South Runway Road.The tower was notified to stop the take -off and landing operation of the aircraft and went to the scene with the Air Police Station.

Taoyuan Airport said that in the past, there were also drones to make mistakes. The staff arrived for the first time. Most people had left, and they were subsequently handled by the Air Police investigation.

After confirming that there are no drone activities around, the airport resumed its take -off and landing at 4:5 pm.The incident caused the airport to suspend the take -off and landing for a total of 23 minutes, 14 affected flights, and the passengers were planned for 1737 people in accordance with the flight volume forecast.
