According to the survey data released by the Pew Research Center on Tuesday, about 17%of the American adults said that they often obtain news from this platform that belongs to Chinese companies.This ratio increased five times compared to 2020.
Young people aged 18 to 29 are most likely to use Tiktok to get news.Poye found that 39%of the age group said they often obtained news through the application.This ratio is higher than 32%a year ago.A previous survey of Petou Research Center found that nearly 50%of adults said they used this application to follow up with political news or political issues.
