Major General ZAW Min Tun said to the Voice of America Myanmar Speaking in Myanmar that whether the election was not certain because of the issue of voters and oppositions across the country this year.

Shao Mintong replied in the telephone interview, "I'm not sure now. I can only say that we are striving for the election this year. But there are different 'subversive activities'."

Shao Mintong seems to refer to other resistance organizations that have appeared since the exiles of national unity governments at the same time existing in the exile and the military.

The Military Government also announced that the Visits of the Myanmar Federal Parliament (CRPH), the exile parliament as an illegal organization and implemented an emergency state for several months.

Shao Mintong also said, "The national unity government and the representative committee of the Myanmar Federal Parliament, as well as some other organizations overseas, say they do not recognize the election."

The national unity government is composed of the overturned Myanmar officials and some ethnic leaders who oppose the military government and support the armed resistance.The military government has listed it as a terrorist organization.

Si Thu Maung, a spokesman for the representative committee of the Myanmar Federal Parliament, told the VOA that the military government, that is, the National Management Commission is looking for any reason to maintain power.

Xitu said, "We can see that they are trying to show that even if they hold elections according to the Constitution, they will continue to rule martial law because of these destruction and difficulties."

He also said, "The National Management Commission has reported that they encountered damage for the election during the census."

Derek Chollet, a US State Department, said in an interview with VOA last week that the election in Myanmar's proposal was "impossible".

"When you are in prison every important opposition, engage in atrocities and close free media, you cannot hold a free and fair election."

Myanmar military leader Min Anglai announced on January 4 to commemorate the specific plan of election at the ceremony of getting rid of the 75th anniversary of British rule to achieve the 75th anniversary of the independence of British rule.
