People familiar with the matter revealed that some of the affected employees received the notice from the offices to close the office earlier this month.

Dejie has approximately 1,000 lawyers worldwide.People familiar with the matter said that the law firm had discussed the possibility of being transferred to the Singaporean office with several employees of the Beijing and Hong Kong offices based on lawyers.

If it is implemented, Dejie's business scope in Asia will be limited to Singapore. There are currently 14 lawyers in the local area, and six of them are partners.
