Li Jiachao said that the District Council's funding meeting had completed the nomination of all 399 candidates for review last week and confirmed that all of them were effective.Candidates in different regions have recently launched publicity and votes, and the atmosphere of elections has become more and more enthusiastic.
He pointed out that the elections of all local elections and regional committees in this election are enthusiastic.In local election elections, nearly four candidates for each district compete for two seats.In terms of district elections of the regional committee, 228 people will compete for a total of 176 seats in 18 districts, emphasizing that each candidate must fight for power and the outline of politics to improve the effectiveness of regional governance and make Hong Kong good governance.
Li Jiachao urged each voter to vote at that time to select the best, dedicated, capable, and patriotic district members to serve communities.In order to facilitate voters in mainland China to vote in Hong Kong, two schools near the Shangshui Station of MTR will set up neighboring border voting stations.
The Hong Kong District Council Election in 2023 will be held on December 10 this year to select 176 regional committees' sectors and 88 district parliamentary district members.The election director of the 18 regional committees and the local constituency of the 44 district council received a total of 399 nomination forms during the nomination period.The District Council Qualification Examination Commission has completed the nomination of 399 candidates, arguing that all candidates meet the legal requirements and conditions of supporting the Basic Law and loyalty to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and ruled that their nominations are valid.
