BMW and Mercedes-Benz Group will cooperate in China to establish a fast charging network of electric vehicles, and it is planned to open at least 1,000 charging stations by 2026.

At present, BMW and Mercedes have cooperated with other companies to launch IONITY fast charging stations in Europe.They also plan to launch charging stations in China and will be opened to other electric vehicle brands.However, some services taking online booking as an example will only be open to customers.
China is leading the world's transformation to electric vehicles. Data from Bloomberg New Energy Finance shows that China currently has 715,000 ultra -high -speed charging stations as related infrastructure, which is almost 12 times that of Europe.
