Dong Yunhu, 61, is a native of Xianju in Zhejiang. He is known as the "first person in China Human Rights Research" and has long been in the propaganda department for a long time.He studied philosophy at Hangzhou University and Nankai University. After graduating from a master's degree in 1986, he entered the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He has successively served as deputy director of the Marxist Institute and director of the Human Rights Research Center for more than ten years.
Dong Yunhu served as the Director of the Seventh Bureau of the Central Foreign Affairs Office (Journalism Office of the State Council) in 1997.
