Two TV advertisements during the Lunar New Year made me feel uncomfortable when I saw it.

Advertising starts from the perspective of children who prepare for the Chinese New Year. The first advertisement tells how a elementary school student secretly competed with relatives in a hurry, and threatened to "only succeed, not to fail."To be honest, I don't know what the children in the advertisement are competing, probably to see who can win the joy of the old grandma. Therefore, when he is young, he has already understood the views and looks at the expression of adults.

The second advertisement tells how a young woman actively does something for the elders in order to obtain a larger red envelope. When the woman's parents were busy preparing for a reunion meal and asked her to help buy some ingredients, she was lying on the sofa and brushing her mobile phone. Obviously, she was unwilling to complete the task and shouted loudly to her parents.

Of course I don't want to be an old antique who can't keep up with the times and eat ancient times. But as adults, have we inadvertently recognizing that traditional values should change with the changes of the times? Those advertisements that are popular, grounded and new era are harmless, so can they laugh at it?If you look at it too much, what kind of values should we convey or instill to the next generation?

During the New Year of the Lunar New Year in recent years, there are always two forces in tug of war.One party said that the traditional Chinese tradition and years must be retained, and digitalization should not be allowed to replace traditional customs; the other party believes that the custom should keep up with the pace of the science and technology era and must pay attention to environmental protection.

At the beginning, I was very resistant to the method of transferring electronic red envelopes, and insisted on standing on the "retaining tradition" line. However, for many years, when I observed that many relatives and friends around me were sending physical red envelopes, the elders put the red envelopes in the hands of their elders and asked them to transfer them to their children. This is simply an adult's red envelope exchange. After the lively dinner, no one asked the red envelope. Whether the elders reminded the children afterwards, which uncle and aunt bless them, whether they emphasize gratitude and politeness with their children, it is unknown.

Since children have no need to learn the words of red envelopes, thanks and blessings from their hands with their hands, the substantial differences between sending electronic red envelopes and physical red envelopes are not so specific. In this case, why is we obsessed with the form of sending physical red envelopes?

When traditional customs seem to be disappearing, our natural response is rebounding and resisting. It seems that when a while ago, when the immigration and the level (ICA) decided that the birth certificate of the electronic version was no longer indicated, many people's sense of identity and identity was instantly activated. The government had to withdraw the decision.

However, the certificate of the certificate on the certificate shows that the Chinese people are really so actively retaining their roots and culture?I will not talk about the problem of dialect dialect.I have repeatedly asked what the young Chinese belongs to the origin. Half of them are either unknown, or they answered with "seemingly".If the elders in the family do not teach and remind, how can children know their "life"?

Whenever we call for the retaining tradition, what do you really really want to retain? If you are trying to retain the visible forms, but ignore the traditional essence, those traditional forms may be less significant for the daily life of ordinary people.

Not all things called "tradition" are all aged and old and must be eliminated. Many Chinese traditional values are never outdated, and it is worthy of promoting the light, such as: respecting teachers and being courteous to elders. When I was young, my parents would definitely tell their children to see that the elders remember to "call people".No matter whether the child has that mood at the moment, you must call the elder. If you are not polite, maybe you have to eat a "bamboo shoots fried meat".

Today, seeing the dilutes of these values, as an educator, I have the pain of cutting skin.Students who cope with the rudeness, including the vicious anonymous assessment on teaching feedback, have long been one of the self -evident descriptions of teachers and professors.

In the new year, I hope that older people can actively retain and promote the traditional essence, not just focusing on forms.I hope young people can agree with those beautiful values and inherit them.
