The 12th Straits Forum will be held in Fujian on the 19th of this month. The former president of the Legislative Yuan Wang Jinping intends to go to Xiamen to participate. It is expected that Wang Yang, chairman of the Chinese CPPCC of Mainland China, faced a dialogue.The five laws and reverse osmosis laws discourage Taiwanese people to participate, and require that all political parties shall not sign agreements, memo and other documents with the land side.As for Wang Jinping's interview with the media, I publicly stated that I hope to have this opportunity and be willing to contribute to peaceful exchanges on both sides of the strait.
The Straits Forum is the largest civil exchange platform on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The forum issues are very diversified, including economics, culture, youth, and community grassroots life.In the past, whether it was the Kuomintang or the Democratic Progressive Party, this forum has been an important communication platform for dialogue between cross -strait parties for more than ten years, and has played great effects on peaceful exchanges on both sides of the strait.However, the above -mentioned civil exchanges that help the cross -strait harmony, resolve the hostility of both sides, and enhance their understanding have been regarded by the MAC from a very serious perspective. This is actually room for discussion.
In this year, Tsai Ing -wen had publicly stated that in the face of the complex and changing cross -strait situation, in the past four years, we tried our best to make the greatest efforts for the peace and stability of the two sides of the strait, and to be affirmed by the international community.Willing to talk to the other side, and make more specific contributions to regional security.In addition, Tsai Ing -wen also emphasized that cross -strait relations are at a turning point with different history. Both sides have a responsibility to seek the long -term way to get along and avoid the expansion of opposition.From the above conversations, as long as it is under the principles of peace, peer, democracy, and dialogue, the Cai government should not oppose any peaceful exchange activities on both sides of the strait.
At present, the United States and mainland China are the two major power countries in the world. Although each other regards the potential enemy of the other party in terms of politics or military.Still grasping any opportunities for economic and trade exchanges, the main strategic purpose is to resolve disputes and do not want the deadlock to really expand.
All in all, in order to achieve the important purpose of the Taiwan prevention war, in addition to the military strategy of heavy layers of aggression, Taiwan must also allow some staged non -formal and non -official contact methods to resolve the sensitive political issues on both sides of the strait; and the way of travelingThe many years of the Straits Forum exchange activities are actually one of the important dialogue mechanisms that reduce the hostility of both sides and enhance each other.Wang Jinping has no public office and is not currently in the Kuomintang. It is the largest party on behalf of Taiwan to attend the mainland. In fact, it can also show the political wisdom and strategic height of the ruling party.
