The decourse is the core of the geopolitical wrestling of China and the United States, and this strategy that is concepting and promoted by the U.S. President Trump Government's internal eagle forces has now become the main tool for the United States to weaken China's strength.

The first move of decourse, the Sino -US trade war began in 2018, has greatly reduced bilateral trade. As the United States planned to beat Huawei and bytes (the owner of the popular video application TIKTOK), such as the United States, Chinese technology giants such as TIKTOK are constantly pursuing and blocking, and similar processes in the technology field are also being fully launched. The Trump administration also threatened to allow Chinese companies that cannot allow US auditors to review domestic audit records to delist from the US Stock Exchange. It can be seen that the decoupling of finance has also begun.

Although the successful curb of economic decoupling is yet to be observed, the logic of implementing this strategy at least sounds so much.Since China can benefit from economic relations with the United States, cutting off these relations will definitely weaken China's growth.

But unfortunately, from the recent actions, the American eagle people's ideas for Huagong do not stop there. They also want to further cut off the cultural and educational contact between the United States and China.Earlier this year, the pressure from Republican councilors forced the American Peace Team to terminate the project of China. The organization has dispatched more than 1,300 Americans since 1993.In July of this year, Trump suspended the Fulbright International Education Exchange Program of the United States in mainland China and Hong Kong. This is part of the US government's suppression of Hong Kong in response to the Chinese government's suppression of Hong Kong.

Similarly, in late May, two Republican lawmakers proposed a bill to prohibit Chinese citizens from coming to the United States to engage in the graduate stage of the so -called STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). On August 13, the US State Department identified the Confucius Institute's American Center, a entity funded by the Chinese government and provided Chinese courses as a foreign ambassador, and basically equal to the institution's event.

The journalism has gone through the fastest decoupling process. In early February, after the Wall Street Journal published a review article that named China as a real Asian sick husband, the Chinese government expelled three reporters of the newspaper. The United States subsequently took revenge in early March, forcing 60 Chinese citizens to leave the United States to leave the country.China then expelled the New York Times Wall Street Journal and Washington Post all American citizens to China, effectively weakening the news and editing capabilities of these media in the country.

For the United States, cutting off the culture, education and news connection between China and the United States is unwise, and the effect will only be counterproductive.Instead of promoting the long -term strategic goals of the United States by advocating the value of US values and maintaining moral systems, it has fallen into the palm of the Chinese government; the latter regards these connections as a channel for American thought and cultural infiltration.

There is no government support for the Peace Team and Fuxing Program, and the United States will lose direct channels for interaction with ordinary Chinese (especially young people). With these projects, Americans are able to teach English, American history and literature, and western social sciences in remote areas that have little contact with the outside world.

These activities help the Chinese people understand the United States more accurately and eliminate official anti -American propaganda. Therefore, the revocation of these plans is tantamount to unilateral ideological disarmament.

Some retaliation actions for the oppression of American journalists in the United States seem to be reasonable, but the Trump administration's deportation of 60 Chinese journalists is obviously overwhelming, so that the Chinese government has an excuse to do what it has always wanted to do, that is,Drive the best American journalist.

The large -scale deportation incident in the US -China reporter's relatively harm to the United States is much greater than that of China.Although Chinese state -owned news media reporters in the United States rarely reported independently to educate the Chinese public, American journalists reporting Chinese news under the continuous harassment and surveillance of the Chinese government provided valuable information about the country. The loss of these channels will weaken the ability of US policy makers to track down China's key situation development.

Finally, prevent Chinese graduate students from studying STEM disciplines in the United States, will deprive the United States' top talents in these fields, and help China's development. Those talented Chinese students will change to other developed countries to study. Many of them will eventually return to their country because there are fewer STEM related employment opportunities outside the United States.

While China has benefited from the loss of talents in reverse talents, the United States will miss the contribution of tens of thousands of engineers and scientists. From 2015 to 2017, 16%were awarded to Chinese students in all 3,1052 doctoral degrees in all STEM fields, including 22%of their doctoral degrees and a doctorate degree in mathematics. In addition, about 90%of Chinese science and engineering students have stayed in the United States for at least 10 years after receiving a doctorate degree. This is the longest among all national students.

US -China relations are on the edge of collapse.Economically decoupled has become a reality, and the cultural separation that is led by the United States and cannot imagine not long ago may also be realized quickly. It will be a tragedy, and the United States will be the biggest losers.
