Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Jiachao Sunday (August 20) promised at the first policy report area consultation meeting that the policy report issued in October launched a policy to attract tourists to Hong Kong, and in the future, he will also introduce a plan to retain talent.

According to the Hong Kong Ming Daily, more than a hundred citizens were invited to attend the consultation.Li Jiachao led more than 10 directors, including Chen Guoji, director of the Department of Government, Chen Maobo, Finance Department, and Lin Dingguo, director of the Law Department.

Some citizens participating in the meeting were concerned about the loss of talents in Hong Kong, and pointed out that the recruitment difficulties in small and medium -sized enterprises are currently in the case. Other citizens have proposed to attract Hong Kong people and overseas passengers to consume in Hong Kong, hoping that the government will take measures.

Li Jiachao said in response that the policy report will launch policies on Hong Kong tourism. In the long run, Hong Kong has development and economic opportunities.Talent, and emphasized that the most important thing is to cultivate local talents.

This consultation will have a group discussion session. Citizen groups have expressed their opinions to the directors of various policies. Many of them mentioned that Hong Kong's fertility rate continued to decline and the cost of raising children was high. I hope that the government will increaseChildren's tax exemption, improve child care services, etc., and encourage citizens to give birth.

Li Jiachao said in response that many citizens were specially concerned about fertility issues at the consultation meeting, and believed that to assist in fertility, they also needed to encourage citizens to increase their fertility figures. The government would study relevant measures.
