Hong Kong Saturday (June 17) held the first primary school Putonghua level level testing activities for the first time. The first exams were selected from 114 primary to primary sixth candidates from 30 elementary schools from Hong Kong and Nine New Territories.

According to the People's Daily, the first test was evaluated by Chinese national testers with professional training and obtaining qualification certification in the form of oral tests.Listen to understanding or repeating, proposition speaking and other projects to accurately evaluate the level of the candidate's general call.

The first test activity adopts the standardized level test content developed by the Hong Kong Language Research Center. The first test was conducted in the Hong Kong Examination and Evaluation Bureau.

The Hong Kong Language Research Center is a professional institution in Hong Kong to carry out Mandarin promotion, testing, teaching and research. It is registered and established by Bauhinia Cultural Group, joint publishing group Hong Kong China Book Company and the Hong Kong School of Management.

The Hong Kong Language Research Center also has also opened the "Hong Kong Kindergarten and Primary and Middle School Mandarin Level Test" project.

It is reported that the Hong Kong Language Center will also launch a series of Mandarin -level tests specifically for local kindergartens and middle school students.
