The new French ambassador to China Bai Yutang has arrived in Beijing.new.

According to the official website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday (March 13), the new French ambassador to China Bai Yutang arrived in China last Saturday (March 11) andChang Honglei submitted a copy of the Chinese Book.

According to the French Embassy in China, the new French ambassador to China, Bertrand Lortholar, has arrived in Beijing, the capital of China last Saturday.On February 14th, French President Macron promulgated the decree on February 14 this year and appointed Bai Yutang as the French ambassador to China.

The 55 -year -old Bai Yutang was studying at the Paris Academy of Politics, the Ninth University of Paris, the French National Oriental Language and Cultural Institute, and the French National Academy of Administration.During the French National Oriental Language and Culture Institute, Bai Yutang studied Chinese.

After completing his studies, Bai Yutang has worked since he entered the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1997.He first worked in the African and Indian Oceanic Affairs Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was responsible for affairs in the Great Lakes of Africa, and then joined the work team of the Political Chief Political Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1998 to 2001.

The first foreign faction of Bai Yutang was sent to the US State Department as a exchange diplomat.Later, he was responsible for Asia and Africa in the French Embassy in the United States from 2002 to 2005.After leaving Washington, he served as a government counselor at the French Embassy in China from 2005 to 2008.

From 2008 to 2012, Bai Yutang served as a consultant to French President Asia and Oceania. From February to July 2012, he served as the French Ambassador to Indonesia.From September 2012 to September 2016, Bai Yutang served as the Consul General in New York in New York, and served as the French Ambassador to Vietnam from 2016 to 2019.

He then served as French Prime Minister's foreign affairs consultant from 2019 to 2020, and from 2020 to 2023 as the Division of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Asia and Oceania.
