According to the Xinhua News Agency, the third session of the 14th People's Congress of Sichuan Province elected Shi Xiaolin as the governor of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government on July 31.

On July 4, Shi Xiaolin served as the deputy governor and agent governor of Sichuan Province.

Public information shows that Shi Xiaolin was born in May 1969. After graduating from the electrical technology major of the School of Institute of Technology of Shanghai University, he has long been in Zhabei District, Shanghai.In 2006, she served as the deputy district head of Nanhui District, the deputy head of the Hongkou District in 2009, and the deputy secretary of the Hongkou District Party Committee in 2011.

In 2013, Shi Xiaolin served as the director of the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, the secretary of the party group, the party secretary of the Municipal Society Bureau, and the secretary of the Putuo District Party Committee in 2015.

In 2017, Shi Xiaolin served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, the Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, and the secretary of the party group of the Shanghai Academy of Socialism.

In 2018, Shi Xiaolin served as member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda Department.

In August 2021, Shi Xiaolin served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee.In July 2023, she served as Deputy Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and continued to serve as secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee.

Shi Xiaolin is a member of the 20th Central Committee.
